Multiple windows?

Folks, I know that I can switch the window between multiple apps, but I believe that I miss support for multi-window operation: this is really handy when you want to compare the view hierarchies for two instances of the same app (e.g. when looking for regressions). Switching between apps takes time and I believe that it "reloads" everything from scratch/loses context and etc.

Any thoughts?

    Hi Grigory,

Reveal certainly supports multiple windows! Just use FileNew (⌘N) command, and that will open an independent tab (or window, if you disabled automatic tabbing in system preferences) where you can inspect the same or a different app. You might also find it useful to be able to save snapshots of your app's view hierarchy using FileSave command (⌘S). These snapshots can be reopened later on your or a different machine to display the same contents you see in Reveal when inspecting a "live" app, only without an ability to modify them.

I hope this answers your question! Let me know if you need more details about these features.

    Best regards,
    Vlas.
